Siddharth Karanam

I am a very enthusiastic (almost obsessive) about programming, particularly systems engineering and low-level programming. I have done numerous freelancing gigs during college, mainly dealing with creating high performance proxy servers in Rust and a Next.js frontend application.

I am a keen open source enthusiast and my interests include systems programming, multimedia, networking, and UI/UX for CLI tools. I actively experiment with FFmpeg, LLVM, Wayland and anything I like really. I have also been passionate about cybersecurity since joining college, with one of the highlights being my team reaching the NCIIPC-AICTE Pentathon 2024 finals in Delhi.

Aside from my technical skills, I am passionate about sports and music, with football being my favorite to play and MMA my favorite to watch. I enjoy exploring new TV shows and movies and watch a lot of anime—Hunter x Hunter being my top pick. My music taste spans a wide range, from classical to rock and metal.
